Why six months?
Talent needs time to become work that others can recognize and value. Six months creates a focused development season for learning, repeated practice, feedback, refinement, and portfolio building, laying a foundation for a professional creative career. This is a focused six-month proprietary development program, rather than a two-year or four-year degree.
TCAA’s 30-year model brings artist development and the discipline of collegiate athletics into a proprietary roadmap for Digital Arts and Technology careers.
After the six-month foundation
Whether you enroll through a scholarship or pay the standard fee, completing the six-month program gives you access to the free portal and begins the NIL process. Your coursework, coaching, showcases, and portfolio provide the preparation for this next stage.
TCAA/DAT-C’s proprietary certification recognizes your preparation and gives you a way to distinguish your development through demonstrated work. It is separate from accredited college coursework and credentials delivered by participating institutions.
The pathway welcomes enrollment inquiries from ages 13 to 80: students, parents, and friends, including aspiring talent in rural communities and people facing financial barriers. Learn the business of creative work, entertainment, and emerging NIL opportunities, with a focus on building skills and exploring potential earning channels.
Portal access starts the NIL process. Qualifying opportunities depend on development, readiness, demonstrated performance, and applicable requirements. Certification and completion do not guarantee agreements or earnings.

The NCAA influence
The collegiate-athletics approach informs a structured environment for coaching, practice, skill refinement, and competition. DAT-C applies that development mindset to creative talent: build the skills, polish the work, then demonstrate readiness.
On-site sessions throughout the six months
On-site sessions bring participants and coaches together for coaching, showcasing, and media creation. Performances and recorded work provide concrete evidence for reviewing development, measuring performance outcomes, and identifying what needs refinement.
We value the human encounter: personal guidance, direct feedback, and time spent developing your talent together. For those committed to long-term development, these sessions help build the skills, habits, and relationships that support sustainable success.
Begin with The Business of YOU, assessments, and Creative Economy coursework. Connect your talent to professional habits, business knowledge, and a career direction.
Use on-site coaching, hands-on media creation, feedback, and showcasing to strengthen your craft, polish your presentation, and demonstrate progress through your work.
Bring creative projects, original work, and evidence of performance into a portfolio that shows audiences, collaborators, and potential partners what you can do.
Develop the business understanding to explore bookings, creative services, licensing, entrepreneurship, and qualifying NIL opportunities. Readiness and demonstrated performance come first.
The TCAA how-to roadmap
TCAA’s proprietary roadmap combines a menu of coursework, personal coaching, and evaluation of demonstrated performance. Learn the foundations, put them into practice, and use feedback to make informed decisions as you continue developing.
Explore what fits your strengths, goals, and responsibilities, including bi-vocational opportunities: developing creative work alongside another profession or source of income. The roadmap helps you consider your next step, whether that means further learning, refining your portfolio, or preparing for a qualifying opportunity.
DAT-C connects a portfolio of original creative work and intellectual property with the development of a professional identity. Name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities sit alongside potential channels for the creative work itself, such as licensing, services, and bookings.
Six months establishes a foundation for continued development. Completion does not guarantee professional mastery, an NIL agreement, or compensation.
